Accepted linux-firmware into focal-proposed. The package will build now
and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-
firmware/1.187.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

anything related to QCA6174 in your logs. Please run `sudo apport-
collect 1884100` on his machine, with linux-firmware version 1.187
installed, so that we may have a chance to know what happened exactly in

This issue seems very recent, I want to know if this applies to my case
and if there's a workaround (e.g. lower the speed via configuration -

I'm using NXP embedded processor (SoC) running Ubuntu 19.06 with Linux
kernel 4.14.122. A condole message exact like what everyone reports

I have a lenovo thinkpad E550 that has had kubuntu installed starting with
18.04, now updated to 20.04, I never had problems with wifi until last kernel
update.
If I boot with 5.4.0-33.37 the wireless connection acts normally, it's mostly
stable and I have no major issues.
This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem.
While running an Ubuntu kernel (not a mainline or third-party kernel)
please enter the following command in a terminal window:
apport-collect 1884025
and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.

I have a server running with this (4.4.0-185) kernel right now, with
Unbound installed, and it haven't panicked yet. This server hung seconds
after boot with 4.4.0-184, so I believe it's a good candidate.
