after upgrading my kernel to 5.11.0-40 my wifi card (AX500 killer wifi) is no

Hi Niklas, well, I agree that this is a little bit confusing (and hit me, too).
There is a kernel meta package, and there are binary packages (e.g.
linux-generic), and both may differ slightly in their last digit (build
number), like in this case.
$ rmadison -a source linux | grep
I can confirm the touchpad works when booting with Windows, so this is
not a hardware problem.

I tried to boot with your kernel, but could'nt because it was not
finding zfs modules and asked me to load zfs modules manually. I don't
know zfs enough to do what is being asked, but I do have a zfs encripted
filesystem so I cannot boot without zfs.
