"Would be thankful to the forum if this bug could be addressed as issues
are getting worse and worse, fearing that with the next kernel update
that would remove the kernel 5.19.0.19.19 the system may not be starting
at all any more due to the just described
how can you have verified this for oem-5.17, as it hasn't been uploaded
yet? :)

One more note: my motherboard has a BMC which provides a pseudo VGA card
I can access e.g. via the web interface of the BMC. To Linux this is a
secondary display card and screen.
