I've hit this "bug". I've a nice Clevo ODM based laptop and luckily I
have two nvme drives in it so it's not a show-stopper for me but obv.
it's a concern. I have an Intel one which is the boot drive and a
Samsung one which is the data drive. I have a dual-boot setup. So two

The terrible thing with compression is how we know of no universal rule.
I'm sure you can even find non-pathological cases where lz4 compresses
better than zpaq (and does so 100 times faster). And that's without
taking I/O into account (or filters).
An important thing to keep in mind here is
@Russ W: Downgrading to nvidia-driver-515 avoids this issue or works
around it, but doesn´t solve it. One should be able to install nvidia-
driver=525 as with previous kernels I think.
The latest kernel I installed this weekend (5.15.0.58) also has the same

Yeah I used the wrong term. It solved my issue about needing to get work
done ;). Definitely not solved as I want to use the latest nvidia
drivers too.
My guess is there's older nvidia modules (520?) in the linux-modules
package, and then initramfs adds the new ones (525) causing some issues,
