Since the (Ubuntu Jammy) is on Fix Committed and not Fix Released, I
would assume this is normal right? And the Fix Released status on

We still have the old kernel with the built DKMS
I have observed the same cifs issue upon using kernel 6.20-31. I was
able to resolve the issue via a method provided in cifs-utils bug report
2031246 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cifs-
utils/+bug/2031246.

yes i did and 'cat /proc/cmdline' in the command line now show
pcie_aspm=off
after the last restart it is up for around 17 hours with no internet
problems
I will install older kernel of 6.2 as it was stable for a months on my
machine if the problem still exist I may go with

For me, after setting pcie_aspm=off already work over 25 hours.
But Ahmed report in #51, pcie_aspm=off still can't solve this
issue, that's why I ask him about current comment line and update-grub
or not.
Please check #51 and I will keep monitoring with my laptop.
Actually I see an exit status 1 instead of 11:

I'm adding a task for gdm to this bug. The reason is that if simpledrm
is used, we've found race conditions that occur where the transition
from simpledrm to the proper KMS driver may race with gdm starting up
the login screen.
When gdm loses the race you end up with a black screen. So please
thanks for the heads-up, yeah that'd need to be fixed in jammy as well
(for gdm) when a hwe kernel supports simpledrm
