Yes it's a regression. Here's the syslog using the current kernel from
the moment the device is plugged in to the moment the app gives up on
communication.

When I suspend via systemctl suspend command on home screen and any
running apps it leads to reboot, and I have enabled keyboard shortcut
and I generally use that shortcut to suspend. The reboot leads to
closing of all apps and loosing working data.
