Hi Christopher,
thanks for your help. I had visited the HP download site. The enhancements of
3.14 were a more reliable flash process - so I didn't install it at first. But
to be on the safe side, I did now.
After finishing the flash process, I could not observe any changes. Same
behaviour as

I did just have a suspend/resume failure, but it was the first one after
many repeated test suspend/resume cycles and it was also the first time
I was transporting the laptop so could have been a physical connection
coming loose anyway (I thought it had suspended successfully before I
put it in
