Upgraded to 3.12.1 just now ... unable to connect to Internet using
BlueTooth PPPOE ... timing out, instead having to use USB cable to
connect to Internet.
All BlueTooth changes should be reverted back to 3.7.10, thats when
everything worked without any hitch.

Okay so I figured out the problem. The kernel module ohci-pci is
seperated from ohci-hcd in 3.11 but is not included in the initramfs. I
compiled the module myself and inserted it into the initramfs and now

reinstall Ubuntu in this notebook because after trying the backported
drivers was imposible to connect to internet again (connection drops

So yes on the computer on which I reported the issue the issue is also
reproducible with Nouveau driver.

Also, intel_pstate should be enabled by default. Thermal daemon[1] is
also a good addition to keep temperature in check.

If you're on ubuntu_saucy and enabled intel_pstate like you should via
the kernel boot parameter intel_pstate=enabled, you will find that the
no_turbo setting[1] sometimes does not work.
This is fixed in 3.12[2] and it should be backported to Saucy as it is a
critical feature
This bug affects me too on an Acer Aspire 5720 laptop. Running sudo
restart network-manager works but it's a PITA having to do this every
time the laptop wakes up from Suspend.
This problem did not exist on 13.04. It only appeared after upgrading
to 13.10.

Thanks Gabriel. That confirms that the D-BUS mess is fixed, and it also
times out properly 10 seconds after the suspend call. Both logs now look
spotless. So I'm afraid I need to ask you to get a complete system D-BUS
