corrupted for 1/2 a second, then it went to a black screen with a mouse

Tested from live usb:
10.04.4 has same issues as reported, going into suspend takes a few seconds
longer then saucy.
10.04 won't suspend. When suspending, screen goes black, leds stay on. Then
after 10-15 seconds the screen turns back on again. Shutdown works however.

reports are handled by humans, the majority of whom are volunteers, so
please bear this in mind.
With this in mind, the fact something works in Windows but
Michiel Janssens, the issue you are reporting is an upstream one. Could
you please report this problem through the appropriate channel (may want
to start with linux-pm) by following the instructions _verbatim_ at
Christopher M. Penalver (penalvch), further discussion is wasting time,
especially you are assigned by Microsoft to do so, as I see.
It's really sad that Ubuntu don't care who have power and lead projects.

Moreover if bug creator is not able provide more datails he can mark bug
as confirmed. If you mark all the time as Incomplete it is just your

activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If

Darek, because this issue cannot be dealt with in a proper manner due to
your refusal to update your BIOS, upstream and downstream is not in the
position of working around outdated and buggy BIOS problems, unless
outstanding and extenuating circumstances exist. Your refusal to update
