On beta1 ( ubuntu 3.13.0-14-generic), the problem is no more
reproducible.
I repeated the similar test scenarios + a few new test scenarios. but no
more call traces are seen in dmesg
fsracer and stressaptest are running fine in parallel with no issues.

The patch mentioned above solved the problem for me. The patch was
applied to the kernel in v3.14-RC4. I am now using that kernel with
14.04 for some weeks without any trouble. From my point of view, this

I tried again since I figured out, that the mainline kernel did boot. It
just couldn't start GDM / the xserver.
But I could log in on the tty and the kern.log didn't show the bug
message. It is of course possible, that the bug didn't occur because
the xserver didn't start, but maybe it is fixed

/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/01proxy:
Acquire::http::Proxy http://apt-cacher.lan:3142/;;
System-wide proxy is disabled.
