Too late but thanks. I downloaded 14.04 and made a clean install. The
only way to reproduce this is to make a clean install of 13.10 and
upgrading. But I made this installation from an SD card made with the
KDE USB creator. Do you think it will be useful to do the test ?

I don't know how to download the particular versions 3.14.0-RC2 and
3.14.0-RC3, as RC2 is bad and RC3 is good (relatively).
eg, what version number do I put in for the following example, given the
about versions? :-
git bisect good v3.13-rc4
How do I list the available kernels in git?
I can't
For the last several months, the suspend/resume bug has only occurred
when resuming from suspend by opening the lid of the computer. It has
not occurred when resuming using the power button.

2014-06-07 release. It also looks like now it made its way to trusty-
proposed so things are definitely look moving.

Hello Franz, or anyone else affected,
Accepted intel-gpu-tools into trusty-proposed. The package will build
now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/intel-gpu-
tools/1.3-0ubuntu2.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.
I'm confused.
As I understand it, a simple solution exists upstream, it's been
understood for over a month, and it's easy to apply. I also understand
that this bug affects everybody who uses Ubuntu 14.04 on AWS, and it
prevents anybody from using Ubuntu 14.04 in a production environment on
AWS. A
Strangely enough, it was my power adapter causing the problem. I don't
know exactly how, but when I unplug it, all is well. Lesson learned:
don't by the cheapest power adapter on Amazon.com :)
