3.17.4. I don't see any of the firmware SW error messages. I will reboot

Oh yeah, this works a million times better with firmware v9 on the
utopic kernel. The V8 firmware appears to be broken with my setup. Is
there any chance that the v9 firmware for the 7620 at
http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/iwlwifi/ can be added to
linux-firmware?

think the best overall approach will be to test the .248 driver and then

wpa_supplicant process will 'wake' it up and network connectivity will

Tested latest 5 Dec 2014 vivid-desktop-i386 image on the Acer Aspire
One and am happy to report that the bug is fixed. The battery indicator
now correctly switches from fully-charged Power to Battery when the
power is removed.

When I turn on the laptop after suspend, it displays the boot loader
instead of the operating system. This bug has been detected in Ubuntu
