Judging by the number of different architectures affected, I speculate
that bug occurs on a specific class of hardware (specific set of
motherboard chipsets?)
I have had this same (or similar?) issue plaguing two of my desktop

updating, I swapped my SSH with an old HDD with the OEM Windows. But
still the result is the same, the value of USB charge is 1, and can't be

Well, my PC has a 32-bit CPU, it is not 64-bit capable. FYI - when I
installed the 14.04.2 LTS kernel, the server crashed also. 3.2.0-31 is

The 2014 Thinkpad Edge E440 and E540 models both identify their trackpad
with the same pnp ID LEN2006 but they have different logical sizes.

i feel a bit stupid as i now found out where this comes from and i didnt
