yes, it was reproducible with 15.04. However, as I said above, it was
likely a hardware error - probably a faulty cable connection, there are
reports of that happening to Logitech G500.

Acer has confirmed me that they have hardware issues with Acer V3-371 's
touchpad mouse.
I contacted Acer's support here in Finland and immediately after
describing the problem on the phone I received a RMA number to send the
device for repairs. Acer repaired the device and returned it to me. The
tests ran: 147, failed: 1;
