xinput sees only one input device (PS/2 Synaptics TouchPad) instead of two
(PS/2 Synaptics TouchPad and IBM TrackPoint).

Also experienced this bug. The temporary fix (modprobe) worked, but
commenting out the "blacklist i2c_i801" line resulted in the machine not
finding the touchpad on reboot.
