I want to emphasize that two updates to two Ubuntu LTS versions broke the one
of the main features of the preferred container runtime on Ubuntu (over
docker). A patch is ready and tested and after six weeks no further reaction...

Sometimes, when trying to shut down or suspend my laptop, it gets stuck
on the console screen. If I was suspending, it eventually gives up and
goes back to the X session. During a shutdown it hangs forever and the
only solution seems to be to force a reboot with Magic-SysRq.

I also did some testing with 5.15.0-104-generic from proposed repository
and can confirm this version works again.
I urgently request you to reconsider the decision to postpone the
release until the end of the month. Automatic patching/updating
