It looks like there have been some changes in this area of the Linux kernel sometime around July, so I tried updating to the 5.4.0-rc2 upstream kernel today. This updated kernel appears to fix the issue I've been having. I'll run with the 5.4.0-rc2 kernel for now. Hopefully the update that fixed

It looks like there were some changes made to the upstream kernel in this area over the past few months, so I updated my kernel to upstream version 5.4.0-rc2. This seems to address the slow resume problem. I will run with the 5.4.0-rc2 kernel for now. Hopefully, the changes that addressed this
