Backlight slider moves, and values updated in
/sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/actual_brightness however,
backlight does not actually change.

Backlight Not Functional - Origin EVO 15-S
Tried both nvidia-driver-390 and nvidia-driver-396 (from graphics-
drivers PPA). Neither allow backlight to change upon reboot.
Not sure if this matters, but also tried switching to Intel with prime-
select, and after reboot still no luck.

Since I have both Intel and Nvidia graphics, tried adding
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/80-backlight.conf described in backlight
debugging procedure.
Brightness did *not* change after reboot (or before).

Backlight Not Functional - Origin EVO 15-S
Updated to 4.19-rc7 (uname -r = `4.19.0-041900rc7-generic`) with 'Ubuntu
Kernel Update Utility'. Without any boot parameters, brightness still
doesn't function (but UI shows it changing).
Are there any other things you want me to try on this kernel?
