Here is the requested log. I reproduced the flashes at 13:20 by hovering
the mouse over a diff on github.com and ran the requested command a few
seconds later. There were many rapid black flashes on the screen, and no
obvious corresponding output, but maybe there is something else
interesting in

Public bug reported:
If I select 6.2.0-23 in grub, my system does not boot into the GUI, and
if I manually run `startx` the resolution is super low. If I run
6.2.0-20 everything works fine.
I'm using the proprietary Nvidia drivers, but updating those didn't
help.

Same thing happened again today, but this time it fully crashed the PC
after a few seconds of flickering.
