I have verified with the drm-intel-nightly kernel (version 4.0.0-994) on
201403-14892, and it could get rid of the unknown display.

You could install 3.16 kernel with sudo apt-get install
linux-generic-lts-utopic command, but I think it's fixed in 3.13 kernel.
After re-tested with newer kernels, I noticed that with the 14.04 stock kernel
(3.13.0-24), there is no Synaptics Touchpad in xinput output:

The Bluetooth device (0a5c:216a) on this laptop does not work on
14.04.2, it can't find any other Bluetooth devices at all (simliar to
bug 1129865).
In dmesg output, you can see that it failed to load the firmware:
