OK, I rebuilt the Dell XPS 15 2019 laptop with the killer 1650 wireless,
with 18.04, updated to current apt updates, then installed the kernel
team ppa. The new linux-oem-osp1 kernel does fix the wifi problem.

launched the session hangs due to the intel_iommu being set to on. If I
change boot line to intel_iommu=off the live session works correctly.
