I recently needed to reinstall the OS on my Acer one D257-13473 netbook. I reinstalled Ubuntu 13.04 and upon doing so, I found that the touchpad does not work at all. Previously, in 13,.04 (after upgrading from 12.10) the touchpad did not work, and I cannot remember how I was able to get it fixed.
