Problem lies in the Intel kernel driver 'snd_soc_avs' which is becoming
active but fail to support the HDA sound hardware correctly.

The problem with iwlwifi(and wifi7) no longer exists - no disconnects,
no crash, no unusual errors messages in dmesg.
On my LicheeRV Dock it dos not work for me with HDMI plugged in at

This issue is definitely not a regression in 24.04 as it also affects
22.04 as reported.
For now this doesn't seem to be a kernel issue. The module
"iscsi_ibft.ko" is shipped by the linux-modules- package, therefore
if it's not loaded and configured during installation it seems to be a
user-space
When connected before boot the HDMI output works fine.

possibility of monitors.xml containing bad data.
What if you choose 'Ubuntu on Xorg' on the login screen (menu in the
bottom right corner). Does that prevent the bug from occurring?
