That mouse was working fine prior to Precise; but i cant say if it was well identified (lx5 cordless optical) or not. What have changed then ? (hal dropped, maybe some way to detect hardware ids, some kernel support dropped ?) or actual kernels using some external outputs like dmidecode/lsusb ?
