I have to start with the previous kernel 3.8.0-29, but ctrl+F4/F5 doesn't work

I'm afraid adding the 20-intel.conf file as described in the linked

If I press them I get this in my dmesg:

I managed to change the brightness thanks to Xcaliber, but I'd like to fix
this problem anyway...

Is there a way to write a script that can switch to HSP/HFP, attempt to
switch to a2dp, disconnect bluetooth and reconnect the bluetooth and
then connect to a2dp? That would be a decent work around so we could
save ourselves time when we do this every day.

#57 Thank you SO MUCH! That script worked perfectly for me!

[REGRESSION] bluetooth headset no longer supports a2dp in 16.04
Bug still affects 16.04.01 with Kernel 4.4.0-34-generic.
That workaround does the trick, though.

This "HcDoneHead not written back; disabled" bug also affects me with

Ubuntu mainline. With the kernel 4.7.10 it works without problems.

I haven't because this is a Debian/Ubuntu-specific bug. IIRC
Debian/Ubuntu's file is different from vanilla dkms'.

Yes, that file is the same. What's different is
https://github.com/dell/dkms/blob/master/dkms. The dkms script that's
distributed with Debian/Ubuntu looks for DEBIAN_BUILD_ARCH in the
control file.

It's been almost a month and people are still tripping over this bug. Is
anyone looking at this at all?

Is anyone actively looking at this? I uploaded a patch, it just needs to
be tested and merged.

Title:
dkms mkdeb fails: Can't find
Public bug reported:
For some reason, the Debian version of dkms mkdeb tries to generate a
.deb package with the current arch as a suffix in its name, instead of
'all'. However, since the control file wasn't properly set up, the .deb
file will have the 'all' suffix and dkms mkdeb will fail.

Reopening. Retested with 4.14.13-300.fc27.x86_64. Now, the SDXC card
mounts and I am able to see the directory structure and the files
within, but reading the files is impossible:
$ cp media/NIKON\ D90/DCIM/102NCD90/DSC_5402.NEF Pictures/2017-10-winter/
