Same problem with Sony WH-1000XM2
My workaround is
1. Turn on headphone, wait to connect with low quality sink
2. Turn off bluetooth, wait couple of seconds and turn on
3. Reconnect headphones.
Works all the time.

does not work.
I tried reloading btusb without any luck.
Also tried the modprobe reset workaround, but no luck :(
only reboot helps :(

up on ubuntu to fix 4.10.

I've been experimenting with 4.12.3-041203-generic, not crashes but
sometimes the screen goes blank for 3 seconds, from syslog

this is ridicules, this bug was reported long time ago (2017-04-07), the
patch was created long time ago and here we go.
I might need to abandon the Ubuntu ship and install openSuse or
something else where bugs get fixed.

Generally I'm having stability issue since
- upgraded to 17.04 - xorg freezes with kernel Ooops
- installed virtualbox - resume fails
I removed virtualbox and suspend seems to be ok
The bug opener also has vbox modules loaded, which makes me wonder if this all
coz by virtualbox?
anyone else
This bug makes my laptop unusable, wish I haven't updated to 17.04 :(
