Hi all,
As mentioned on IRC, here is the problem:
2 x 1GbE LAN via IntelĀ® i350-AM21 2 port GbE interface card is not being
picked up under Ubuntu either using kernel in-tree driver or Intel
provided driver on their website. These NIC(s) are used within the
Supermicro H11DSi
Still hitting this using MATE and the NVIDIA Drivers:

Public bug reported:
Had to reboot back into previous known working kernel 4.13.0-21.24. As
a note, booting into 4.13.0-25.29 resulted in a broken keyboard/touchpad
and wifi not working. Rebooting into the even newer 4.13.0-30.33 then
results in a complete failure to boot. Logs attached here ar
