@MicWit: I had problems even with 11.10, as you can see in the automatically generated part of the description. Perhaps I should test the newer kernels, but I totally got bored with it and I just use workaround 2: disable AMD C1E. Maybe you should open a separate bug report? -- You received this

I have finally forced myself to go back to this bug. Tested with Linux 3.12 rc3 from mainline ppa. AMD C1E set to auto -> can't boot. AMD C1E set to disabled -> boots normally. I probably should send a mail to the maintainers, but last time I did it, I got no response from them. Maybe I've screwed
