The WiFi doesn't work in Ubuntu 14.04...
Also 14.04 has a newer kernel, so not sure why I'd now need to test just
an upstream kernel with 13.10, that makes no sense...

Forgot to mention it has scripts for /etc/acpi but since xev and
acpi_listen don't give output these are pretty useless...

Someone changed my bug report, I listed originally also the F2 not
working for WiFi as well.
Meaning using F2 doesn't turn on or off the wifi. The Wifi does work,
it's always just on, but if I'm not using it, I'd like to be able to
shut the adpater off on the laptop. The only way to disable it is

acpi_osi=linux, acpi_backlight=vendor, and acpi_backlight=legacy with no
success...
I'll let you know with video.use_bios_initial_backlight=0 if it helps...
Thanks

I have a Asus G75VW and I've tried 12.04 & 13.10 and the F5 & F6 for
screen brightness doesn't work.
So Ubuntu can't fix this for us, we have to chase this after Upstream?
Personally I thought a big point to Ubuntu was to make for easier end-
user usage and support, so I don't think the end-user
