I got it working on a 2015 MacBook Air 7.2
From a 23.04 fresh installation it didin't work neither with a 22.04 fresh
installation. I tried all the tricks I found over internet and nothing worked.
I then had first to install an old Ubuntu 20.04 and block the version of the

release? If so, could you please boot into a x64 Ubuntu kernel (not third party
kernel or i386 OS) and execute the following command only once, as it will
automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:

I had the exact same error. I left my computer to go into suspend with
vlc paused and came back with approximately 120GB of log files.

'Elan touchpad' not detected on
Hi,
I stumbled on the same(?) error.
32 GB SDHC, Lenovo L480, Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
SD card newly bought for a simple device, so no manufacturer know. But it works
with a USB card reader.

So in my case, my VM was configured with only 256MB of memory. This
caused no problem on the normal -virtual kernel but caused all sorts of
problems when I installed -lowlatency in the guest.
Upgrading to 384MB solved the problem reliably here, so perhaps this is
not the same thing afterall.

Reliable crash in lowlatency kernel with LXD

I have an LXD Virtual Machine refusing to boot after installing the
-lowlatency kernel on it. Sounds like these _might_ be related, so
here's my info. I'm on a NUC too, btw.
Host: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, LXD 4.2 snap (running -lowlatency)
