The laptop is doing a hybrid sleep: writing to disk and then sleeping to RAM. It does not happen when I revert to the default suspend-only mode. Also, I notice this happens only when my RAM utilisation is high. I don't know if that is a bug or intended because my swap partition is small. -- You
