Any update on this issue?

disconnects do not happen when I use it but whenever I close the lid and
open it again, the touchpad starts lagging for a second and then
disconnects so I need to do a restart in order to start working again

and tried applying the patch the following command: patch -p1 <
I am currently on Manjaro with 5.0 Kernel and the touchpad does not

it starts lagging and disconnects so I need to do a restart. On the
previous kernel it used to disconnect and also I have tried 5.1 and it

I am experiencing the same behavior with the 4.19 kernel.
The touchpad does not work smoothly and freezes occasionally and I have to wait
for couple of minutes, after which it starts working again.
dmesg command gives the same output like what other people have
