[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1207812] Re: Iphone with iOS 7 does not work on Ubuntu

2013-11-21 Thread Zhongfu Li
I also have this problem. It appears that after I click Trust, the
iPhone indicates that it stops charging for a fraction of a second then
starts again, with the message popping up.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1242941] Re: AR3012 does not come back up after resume from hibernation

2013-10-22 Thread Zhongfu Li
This looks like a problem in how the kernel loads the modules; the ath3k
and btusb modules appear to be in SUSPEND_MODULES in the pm config, and
is not loaded in the correct way, which may be the cause for bluetooth
going down.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1242941] [NEW] AR3012 does not come back up after resume from hibernation

2013-10-21 Thread Zhongfu Li
Public bug reported:

My Bluetooth adapter has worked partially and sporadically, until I found out
that I should get btusb to load before ath3k, in #922715, by adding this to
/etc/modprobe.d/ath3k.conf:
 install ath3k modprobe btusb; modprobe --ignore-install ath3k;
which allowed me to see it on and also scan/be searched.

However, after hibernation and subsequent resume, the Bluetooth device
is off again, and it is missing from hcitool dev and rfkill list.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

Title:
  AR3012 does not come back up after resume from hibernation

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  My Bluetooth adapter has worked partially and sporadically, until I found out
that I should get btusb to load before ath3k, in #922715, by adding this to
/etc/modprobe.d/ath3k.conf:
   install ath3k modprobe btusb; modprobe --ignore-install ath3k;
  which allowed me to see it on and also scan/be searched.

  However, after hibernation and subsequent resume, the Bluetooth device
  is off again, and it is missing from hcitool dev and rfkill list.

Title:
  AR3012 does not come back up after resume from hibernation

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  My Bluetooth adapter has worked partially and sporadically, until I found out
that I should get btusb to load before ath3k, in #922715, by adding this to
/etc/modprobe.d/ath3k.conf:
   install ath3k modprobe btusb; modprobe --ignore-install ath3k;
  which allowed me to see it on and also scan/be searched.

  However, after hibernation and subsequent resume, the Bluetooth device
  is off again, and it is missing from hcitool dev and rfkill list.

  The device id is 13d3:3362
