@Bib @autra Thanks for your thoughts - it's good to keep things in perspective. My point is more that rapid adoption of Ubuntu would be achieved faster if these recurring 'bugs' with flagship hardware could be sorted out. That said, I'm a fairly happy Ubuntu user, and have been using it since

I don't understand why this is such an ongoing problem - isn't the XPS 13 ultrabook supposed to be the developer laptop? I thought the whole point was to provide a seamless experience for developers - and others - who want a Ubuntu ultrabook that's fully supported and 'just works'. What's going on
