Sorry for late reply, I had to pause the project of building a server
for my files as I got a new daughter :)
You can close this bug, I ended up buying a less high-end card as this
rig was supposed to be a server and have had no problem now.

This computer is quite old but it was regulary used with ubuntu version
up to around 11.04.
Then this computer got a bit ignored due to real life ;)

A trigger to get this error is to play a flash movie
computer also seem to get occational hard-locks, screen just dies and I
cannot ssh into the box.
machine doesn't even respond to the alt-gr r, e, i, s, u, b combo
either. My unqualified guess is that the graphics hard-locks the system.
