snd_ice1712: audio is stuck with Audiophile 2496
The last working kernel that I have tested was on Ubuntu 14.04.
Problem exists with a fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 and the issue is
still present with 4.6.0-040600-generic_4.6.0-040600.201605151930_amd64
kernel.

I have Audiophile 2496 and quite fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04. The card
seems like it is working as the modules are loading without an issue and
everything is showing up in the sound settings as expected. Also
alsamixer seems fine.
