I'm starting to think this issue stems not from our Realtek RTL8153 Ethernet chip but rather from something upstream of it. My best guess now is that there's something wrong with the handling of the "ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1042A USB 3.0 Host Controller" that's in our docks. This is a usb3.0
