Followed steps from #93 and both touchpad and touchscreen works on 14.04 LTS. The only really annoying thing is that "Disable while typing" options in the "Mouse & Touchpad" options doesn't seem to have any effect. "Syndaemon -i 1 -K -d" and "GPointing Device Settings" "Enable palm detection" also
