[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1286552] Re: No wifi after suspend
the latest kernel seems to be working much better for be, as even after resume I get working wifi. Unfortunately it fails after a while again (without suspend or power save, just in the middle of surfing). Likely my issue this is now more related to i.e. Bug 1320070 Thanks for all your work. The solution given here (http://askubuntu.com/questions/368671/ubuntu-13-10-wifi-not-re- connecting-after-suspend) worked for me but when I have updated my Ubuntu now it won't work. I have tried to test mainline kernel but it won't to boot with it. To reproduce the bug : just suspend the computer and then power it. There's no wifi network until you restart the computer. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1346269] Re: Ubuntu 14.04 won't shut down (reboots)
I have exact same experience on a Lenovo Notebook (6 years old and always running Ubuntu) with Nvidia proprietary graphics driver. With 12.04 it was perfectly fine. Now since 14.04 I experience same as Jaap Woldringh (jjhwoldringh) wrote on 2014-09-14: the shutdown halts halfway, I guess after the hard disk stops rotating (noise stops), but the cooling ventilators still run. I have to keep pressing the hardware off button for 10 seconds or so, to get it fully halted (vent stopping). Vent keeps going otherwise indefinitely (tested it for more than an hour leaving it be, but did not change anything) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1346269 Title: Ubuntu 14.04 won't shut down (reboots) Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I just installed a new 14.04 server install on the following hardware: ASRock E3C224-4L Server/Workstation Board (Intel C224 chipset) Intel Xeon E3-1245V3 Quad Core LGA1150 CPU 32GB of DDR3 ECC RAM LSI 9201-16i SAS/SATA HBA I am unable to power down the system without physically doing it with the button, or powering it off using the inbuild IPMI management.
