Title:
Window for entering ssh password doesn't show up.

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
When I log into gnome and try to ssh server while hard drive is used
extensively, ssh asks me for a password and doesn't use my key.

When I wait a couple of minutes and the drive's led stops lighting,
then ssh shows me window for entering the key's password and ssh
  connection works correctly.

Tested on kernels 3.5 and 3.7.

I'm not sure if this affects security, but there is such possibility.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1072805] Re: Window for entering ssh password doesn't show up.

2013-08-10 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Szymon Guz, as per
http://h2.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=encc=usprodNameId=5060895prodTypeId=321957prodSeriesId=5060893swLang=13taskId=135swEnvOID=4059#120
an update is available for your BIOS (F.40). If you update to this, does
it change anything?

If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of
the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Thank you for your understanding.
