florin, for now, I'm going to mark this a duplicate of 1210785. However,
if after the fix is released for Saucy it does not address your problem,
we can unmark the duplication and pursue this further.

  wpa_supplicant multipe crashes on startup

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
On every startup (and not only then), I get multiple crashes. I try to

it does not work (a different bug, already reported) and at some point
I can see the culprit seems to be wpa_supplicant. Is there a way to
fix it? Everything seems to be working.

Just got a wpa_supplicant crash when I closed Google Chrome. During the

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1248772] Re: wpa_supplicant multipe crashes on startup

2013-11-12 Thread florin
I have just installed amd64 kernel from here http://kernel.ubuntu.com
/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.12-saucy/ and restarted the laptop. On startup,
there it is, multiple crashes. If I can help you with something else,
please do say. I am willing to even let you remotely use my machine if
it can help fixing it.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1248772] Re: wpa_supplicant multipe crashes on startup

2013-11-07 Thread Joseph Salisbury
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.12 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot,
please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as
Confirmed.

Thanks in advance.
