[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1373552] Re: iwlwifi problem causes repeated disconnections to wireless network
The problem where I couldn't connect to any network was a separate issue. Also with v3.17 of the kernel, the problem happens much less frequently. ** Attachment removed: Log of iwlwifi messages from when I could not connect to wifi networks https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1373552/+attachment/4213887/+files/iwlwifi_2.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1373552 Title: iwlwifi problem causes repeated disconnections to wireless network Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: After having iwlwifi problems of constant disconnections every 30 or so minutes, I tried going to http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/iwlwifi to install the latest Intel® Wireless 7260 firmware for my kernel version at /lib/firmware, having only the -8 or -7 version in that directory, restarting my computer, and reinstalling the linux-firmware 1.127.6 package. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1373552] Re: iwlwifi problem causes repeated disconnections to wireless network
Will try to see if downgrading linux-firmware to 1.127.4 to see if that fixes the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1373552 Title: iwlwifi problem causes repeated disconnections to wireless network Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: After having iwlwifi problems of constant disconnections every 30 or so minutes, I tried going to http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/iwlwifi to install the latest Intel® Wireless 7260 firmware for my kernel version at /lib/firmware, having only the -8 or -7 version in that directory, restarting my computer, and reinstalling the linux-firmware 1.127.6 package.
