linux-image-4.4.0-94-generic from -proposed looks fine to me. VMs boot
ok and as expected no TRAP 0xF60 (Facility Unavailable) in dmesg:

I tested the test kernel made available by jsalisbury and it worked for me as
well.
This is a pretty big blocker - very much hoping this makes it into a new
kernel soon.
