4 days of running the 4.13 kernel and every time I close the lid on this
laptop it's suspending and resuming without fail as it should.

It seems to be behaving on 4.13.16-041316-generic (but I've not been
about over the weekend to test a great deal!) Will keep an eye on it

Does suspend work under 17.10? Please try kernel v4.13, which is what
17.10 uses.
