Hi,
I had the same issue, what happend is that the network went down and the
server flooded the switch with traffic.

what happens is ethernet keeps working, but once every 2-3 days it just
stops, and the way I fix it is I unplug the usb3->usbc adapter (which
connects to the usbc->ethernet adapter)
