Christopher M. Penalver thank you very much.
Upgrading the BIOS to version F.0D and setting the kernel parameter
radeon.modeset=1 solved the problem.
Now everything works correctly.

Title:
Kubuntu 12.10 fails to boot with kernel 3.5.x
Status in
Danijel Forstneric, if you remove kernel parameter radeon.modeset=0 are
you then able to boot in 3.5.x kernels?
** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 1071709

No, if I use the latest mainstream kernel for Raring and remove the
kernel parameter radeon.modeset=0 I get the black screen after boot and
can't do anything.
But today I tried the latest Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) Daily Build
and the problem was fixed.
