Clicking Enable network just produces a tick in the menu item but nothing else is changed. I can do sudo service network-manager restart to work around it. I have this problem on my laptop. Next time it happens, I'll try the workarounds. But this is very problematic. Hi, open this topic again! It is a serious issue that has not been solved yet, only worked around (sudo killall NetworkManager). It is annoying to put it in terminal every single time!
