OK, I've flipped this to 'linux' - I think it's much more likely than it
being ibus.

Hello.
I updated from 13.04 to 13.10 but the keyboard did not work.
I tried doing a fresh install but the keyboard did not work with the live cd.
In 13.04 all works correctly
My laptop is a lg p1 express dual
