Public bug reported: My XPS13 running 14.04 sometimes loses its USB ports after resume from suspend. When this happens the entire bus seems dead - both external ports do not work, and internal USB devices (webcam, touchscreen) are also non-functional. Furthermore lsusb shows no devices attached. Rebooting or performing another suspend/resume cycle will clear the problem.
