I can confirm that the bug exists after having updated my bios (2.08 -
2.10). I have also checked the new bios with the upstream kernel for
completeness.
The problem remains identical to the description given in my initial
report. I have removed the outdated bios tag and set this back to
Lewis Toohey, could you please test the latest mainline kernel via
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.15-rc5-utopic/ and
advise to the results?
